MISS EFFIE DUBOIS

Miss Effie DuBois is a dark and daring diva obsessed with the glamorous and macabre. Always dancing the line between beauty and agony, Effie is strongly influenced by the tragic starlets of days past.

Effie got her burlesque start by dancing with Miss Delilah Beacoup’s live band at various venues around Seattle. This practice of improvised burlesque to live music has remained one of Effie’s favorite performance styles to this day! Effie has also performed at Kat Robichaud’s Misfit Cabaret, Bumbershoot, frequently appearing with Miss La Petite Mort, and of course with her Devil’s family.

Besides burlesque Effie loves to sing and little known fact - loves to play video games! Being a secret nerd, she’s really happiest either on stage or at home with her two Siamese cats Vash and Wolfwood. She couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Devil’s Advocates and be able to hit the stage with her best of friends.
